What we collect, and why
When you book a call. Booking goes through Calendly. Calendly collects your name, your email address, the time you pick, your time zone and your answers to the booking form: your company name, your business type, your headcount, your timing, what problem you want to fix first, and your phone number if you choose to give it. It also records technical details such as your IP address and browser, and it may set cookies on its own site. Calendly adds the call to our Google Calendar. The call happens on Google Meet or in person. We get your booking details so we can hold the call and follow up about it. Calendly handles these details for us under its own terms. You can read Calendly's privacy notice at https://calendly.com/legal/privacy-notice.
When you visit. We use Fathom Analytics, made by Conva Ventures Inc. in Canada, to count visits. Fathom uses no cookies and doesn't follow you to other sites. For each visit it records the page, the site that sent you, your browser and device type, and the country it works out from your IP address. It doesn't keep your IP address. It uses a code that changes every day to tell one visit from another. We also count clicks on the booking button. We use this to see which pages people read, so we can make the site better. You can read Fathom's privacy policy at https://usefathom.com/legal/privacy.
When you email us. We get your email address and whatever you write, and we use them to reply. Our email runs on Google Workspace.
Hosting. Netlify, Inc. hosts this site. Its servers process your IP address and browser details to deliver the pages and keep the site secure.
We don't use advertising cookies or ad pixels on this site, and we don't sell your personal information or share it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the services that help us run this site and hold calls: Calendly, LLC (scheduling, United States), Google LLC (Google Calendar, Google Meet and Google Workspace email, United States), Conva Ventures Inc. (Fathom Analytics, Canada) and Netlify, Inc. (hosting, United States). We may also share it if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
Where it's stored
These services store data in the United States and Canada. Fathom anonymizes visits from the European Union on servers in the EU before the results are stored in the United States.
How long we keep it
We keep booking details and emails for as long as we need them for the call and any follow-up, and for no more than 24 months after we last hear from you, unless you become a client. Fathom keeps visit records until we delete this site from our Fathom account.
Visitors in the EU and UK
We use your booking details and emails because you asked us to set up a call or replied to us (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and because we have a legitimate interest in answering you (Article 6(1)(f)). We use Fathom because we have a legitimate interest in understanding, in general, how people use this site (Article 6(1)(f)).
You have the right to object to Fathom counting your visits. You can block cdn.usefathom.com in your browser, or email us and we'll stop counting your device. You can also ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or send it to you in a usable file, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Your choices
Wherever you live, you can email kevin@thetruefrontier.com to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to ask us to stop using it. We'll reply within 30 days.
Children
This site is for businesses. It isn't meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
